Move over Ariana Grande, Cookie is coming for you! And nobody can beat Cookie. The new Viva Glam spokesperson for 2017 will be Taraji P. Henson and Jussie Smollet. For the once not familiar with MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam collection: One hundred percent of the proceeds of Viva Glam lipsticks and lipglass go to the MAC AIDS Fund, which helps women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS — and the two stars of Empire couldn’t be more excited to join the cause.
A brief history on MAC Cosmetics, RuPaul was the first celebrity ambassador to endorse Viva Glam in 1994, while other stars throughout the years include Mary J. Blige in 2001 and Lil’ Kim in 2001, Christina Aguilera and Boy George in 2004, Fergie, Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga in 2010, Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin in 2012, Rihanna in 2014, Miley Cyrus in 2015 and for 2016 Ariana Grande.
Previous Viva Glam collections are already available, but the new one supported bij Taraji and Jussie will be in stores in February.
