When I’m in London,I always go to Sketch. Sketch, former head office of Christian Dior, has everything. It is nice to go for breakfast,  simply coffee, lunch, high-tea, afternoon-drinks, dinner and clubbing. Sketch consists of: three restaurants, an art gallery, tea room, patisserie and two bars.  What special about Sketch are the different vibes in every single room. The interior is something like you never have seen before. One room is extremely baroque, while another room is very experimental and modern, and others more glamorous. Because of the many different rooms it may sound very impersonal. However since every room has a different look and feel, it doesn’t. It feels like your in a big May-Fair mansion.

The food and beverages are just as special as the interior. Cocktails with basil and red chilli, and a starter of sea bass Carpaccio with coconut cream and pineapple ice-cream on top. Coffee comes in rubber cups, and even the cheque is a joy to see. After dinner it’s lovely to visit the parlour room. During the day you can have breakfast and high-tea here. However in the evening it changes in a private member club. Dancing and drinking here feels like being on a high-end house party. The audience is a variety of local may-fair habitants and fashionable international party people. Lost but not least don’t forget to go to the toilets. The egg cabins and the Swarovski toilets are marvellous places to powder your nose.
