Last night the Hunters were present at Boutyq, in hotel the Dylan. A fashion show of three (inter)national designers: Francisco van Benthum, Unconditional and Jeroen van Tuyl. They showed the Spring/summer 2012 looks.  The catwalk was located in the garden of the hotel. This very romantic place is the perfect location for a fabulous fashion show. The only problem was, the weather. Despite the international appeal it still remains Amsterdam, so you never can count on the weather. Half an hour for the show started, it started to rain cats and dogs. All the fashionista’s, journalist and celebrities got an umbrella, however this couldn’t help, the dresses and suits still got wet from the porring rain. However uncle Karl Lagerfeld would have died for a setting like this, maybe Karl need to visit the Netherlands more often. But back to show. Francisco van Benthum got the Boutyq show started. Classical designs, with fashionable cuts in colors like nay blue, beige and white. The collection was inspired by the them  ‘summer in the tropics’ . This was very recognizable in the clothes. A lot of double-breasted jackets and haremtrousers were shown. The Second show on was Unconditional, one of Hunter Niels favorite brands. He was very curious about the new collection, and it was great. See-through cardigans, breton stripes, and modern sillouetes with light materials and colors. Jeroen van Tuyl closed Boutyq with a very contrasting show compared with the other designers. His collection was pretty heavy with dark colors and materials like leather and knitwear. He showed some back cleavage and fetish-like accessoires. Jeroen van Tuyl and Francisco van Benthum had some amazing sandals as well. After the show the after party started. While enjoying drinks everybody get intimate and danced with the models on the tunes of Martin Duvall. Just another Tuesday night for the Hunters, from a wet T-shirt contest to a leather party. (More images of the show will follow soon)
