Watch out fur Animals
The leopard print is one fashion trend that never seems to die. Season after season we notice this print on the runway. It doesn’t matter if it concerns Spring or Fall/Winter. For this season the leopard or rather the animal print is one of the main trends. Some of you will think, I pass this trend because this dangerous pattern may be a bit too flashy and loud or you even will think wearing a leopard or snake print is vulgar. The keyword of success for wearing this trend is
the right way of combining garments. If you combine the print on the right way, the animal can boost your outfit and can even give your outfit a chic and luxurious touch. Use the catwalk looks from the designers as an example for your own wardrobe. When you think a leopard coat is too much, go for accesoires. A cuff bracelet, a pair of gloves or a headband or shoes covered in animal print. Regarding the use of the animal print in your garments, the classic way is to combine the printed items with monotone items. For the experienced people try to combine 2 differtent animals, leopard and python. When you combine them, make sure the prints have something in common. For example the color, the pattern or the fabric. Beside the print of the animal the Hunters noticed animal images on garments, like the collection of Givenchy and Topman. Real animal skins are also FW 11/12 trend. Real and faux fur, depending on what you like. The Hunters already did some animal shopping. Niels bought a vintage fur collar and Linda a pair of Leopard Michael Kors heels. Many animal inspired garments are on the wishlist of the Hunters, The Givenchy sweater, a leopard cardigan and the Swatch watch created by Jeremy Scott. See our moodboard, to get inspired.
