Turning Men Fashion
Yesterday afternoon the Hunters were invited in the H&M showroom to meet Anne Bosman, the Dutch winner for the H&M design award 2012. The H&M Design Award is a new annual initiative to support and encourage future fashion talent. Bachelors of fourteen fashion courses in six countries at national level battled for the price. Anne Bosman student of the institute ArtEZ has been declared the Dutch winner. Besides the fact that it is a huge honor to win this price, he won €5.000 and there is a change to win the global H&M design award prize of €50.000. And not to mention to show his collection during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm. To win this, Anne must beat the finalists from the five other countries. The Hunters are confident, because we really like the collection, the concept and the story, as well as the inspiration behind the collection. For the collection Anne was inspired by his childhood memories. The combination with new experiences, daring and innovative forms and his view on fashion for men resulted in a great collection. The Hunters share his opinion that men fashion can be much more exciting and that the boundaries of menswear need to be turned. Regarding the shapes, but also in terms of colors and the combination of garments.
