Trend report: Overblown Prints

In February we visited the fashion weeks. There we saw the fall/winter collections from the designers. We shared with you how we experienced the shows. However there is more to tell. One trend that stood out for us was the striking seventies prints. We loved the printed suits, one look dominated by one entire print. A line jackets, artistic, edgy and classic geometric shapes in striking colours. All over, head-to-toe prints, were shown at many different designers. Miu Miu, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Osar de la Rente, Hermes, Marc Jacobs and not to mention kenzo used overblown prints. The colours, the prints, and especially the combination of these make us happy. The suits are available in designs from different materials. Shiny materials, tweeds, metallics everything is possible. Unexpected colour combinations, a mix of materials, there are no rules this upcoming season. It’s a matter of daring. Will you meet this challenge. I do!
