Tommy Hilfiger, Bleecker Street, New York CIty
No matter how quickly everything is changing in New York City, one street will always be popular for the trendy shopping public and that is Bleecker Street. The street, known for Magnolia’s Bakery (for the cupcakes), the Marc Jacobs stores and vintage stores has one other fantastic shop that you can’t miss: Tommy Hilfiger. On first sight you might wonder what is so exciting about a Tommy Hilfiger shop, since there are many stores worldwide. However none of the Tommy stores are like this one. In 2007 this boutique opened first only selling women’s collection, and recently started to sell the men’s line as well. Still not excited? And when we say they have amazing collector’s items? Vintage Tommy Hilfiger collections, as well as from other labels? Gotcha! I knew you would like that. The store feels very intimate, like a living room. They sell the most fantastic and exclusive pieces from Tommy Hilfiger, like nice cashmeres and coats, as well as beautiful vintage pieces. It is a candy store for vintage lovers, preppy boys, but also when you are looking for some good basics. Once you are in Bleecker street it is not easy to pass by the store, since they have some very on trend windows. And most important, the service is great!
