The Mall, Florence

Oh boy do we love Italy. I (Hunter Niels) like Italy so much, that I think about moving to Rome when I am older. The food, the vino, the weather and the fashion. What is not to like? When you are in Florence and had enough of all the mozzarella, Pasta and limoncello, we know the perfect hang-out for you. It is a shopping paradise: The Mall. The name doesn’t sound very tastefull, but this is seriously a walhalla for fashion lovers. Usually an outlet store looks like a conference room, with bulks of clothes everywhere, smelly people, no space to change clothes and terrible lightning. Nothing like that in The Mall. It looks like a fancy shopping street, with beautifully designed stores from all the big designers: Balenciaga, Valentino, Fendi, McQueen, Dior, Marni, YSL, Armani¬†and many, many more. And unlike most outlet stores, they often sell new collections. My dad bought a Giorgio Armani suit here for 400 euro’s, which he found one year later in the Netherlands in a store for 2.500 euro’s. When you do the calculation, it is actually worth just travelling here, booking a nice hotel and get your new wardrobe instead of buying it somewhere else. You save money and you have a nice trip to Florence. 8 years ago I bought a Fendi jacket here for 80 euro’s which was 500 euro originally. I still wear the jacket often. It is the jacket I wore at the shoot with the Hunter boots. So take a break from all the eating, sight seeing and tanning, and got to the Mall for a day to spend, spend and spend!
