The bag fever
There are several essential items that every women should have in her wardrobe. A woman’s wardrobe should include items that are not only stylish and flattering, but versatile and functional as well. The accessoire I’m talking about is the Bag. It reflect your style, show the world who you are and make you look unique. The right bag always adds that finishing touch to an outfit or rather, it completes an outfit. With different colours, designs, styles, shapes, sizes and materials, a woman can never have too many bags. A different bags for different occasions, styles and looks. I always try to match my bag to my outfit. I just love bags and I’m addicted to the ones from the designers. It started 4 years ago, with the purchase of my first Marc by Marc Jacobs bag during a trip to NYC. I promised myself and my boyfriend, I will keep this bag the rest of my life. I still love that bag and use it quite often, but after the purchase something happened to me. I got a fever. I have to buy a new bag every season. Once the season starts, I start the Hunt. What are the trends regarding colours, shapes, materials and brands?! Diversity is the key word for next season. Square formats, round bags, rectangular or type on, in small, medium and large, next to the diversity of shapes and sizes you can choose a variety of materials, textures and colours. Shades of grey colours, white, black and beige palette with a touch of a bright colour like orange, red, yellow, blue and purple will determine the streetscape. The bags for next season have plenty of personality. Bags that are both wearable and eye-catching. I created my wishlist, curious which bags keep you up at night?
1. Priceless, but o so pretty. The Fall 2012 pre collection is heavy on earth tones, which weren’t present in the runway show but still make a clear reference to the natural elements that inspired the collection. The collection is a bit more rugged than we’re used from Chanel. I love the shape and the colour combinations.
2. Rochas: Leti Bag. A new style that reflects the codes of the Parisian Fashion House. I think the bag is stylish, modern and classic. Not too big and suitable for every day use. This bag goes with every outfit. I love the colour combination and the combination of the different materials.
3. Celine: Luggage tote. This bag is loved by many women. The young girl’s answer to her mother’s Birkin! I love the shape, the material and OMG the colour. The perfect bag for the office, a day shopping, or even for a night out.
