What is the definition of a Style Icon? A trendsetter? Someone who leads in fashion circles? Someone that others look up to and admire? Someone who follows trends? How would you define a style icon?
She isn’t afraid of color, loves graphic prints and sleek tailoring. Caroline Issa, the woman who always catch our eyes. Caroline was born in Canada to a Chinese mother and a father of half Iranian Half Lebanese origin, after graduating with a Business degree and working as a management consultant in the world of finance, her life changed in a chance meeting with the founder of Tank Masoud Golsorkhi. Nowadays, Caroline is a favorite of style blogs like Jak & Jil and The Sartorialist; she’s modeled for J Crew, and her day jobs include being the executive fashion director of Tank magazine, the editor in chief of Because magazine and the fashion director of Tank Form consultancy agency.
We adore her style because it’s outstanding. Edgy, playful, sophisticated but on the other hand elegant and feminine. Her courant style mixes colour, tailoring, high heels and a flair for layering. It’s always a pleasure to see her walking down the streets of NYC, London, Milan and Paris.
