Style icon Anna Dello Russo
Anna Dello Russo, this woman lives/breathes/sleeps is fashion. She describes herself as a passionata fashionista and is discribed by Helmut Newton as a ‘fashion maniac’. Anna was born in Bari in Southern Italy and raised in Milan, where she still lives with her dog Cucciolina. It surprises us that the name of the dog isn’t fashion related. But that aside. Anna is currently the Editor At Large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan. She spent 18 years at Conde Nast Italia, Anna started as a Fashion Editor at Vogue Italia and went on to become Editor of L ‘ Uomo Vogue from the period 2000-2006. The most of you will know her or just her name because of her position as the Editor At Large for Vogue Japan. The experts or those who read the magazines and those who follow the blogs know Anna because of her striking looks. Anna is featured in almost every magazine and blog regarding street style photography. Anna is also one of the most influential women in the world of fashion. The Hunters have seen Anna in NYC and Paris during the Fashion Weeks. We were impressed, by her appearance, because of her outfits but also because of her figure. It was so exciting to see her , because she changed her outfit, accessories and shoes for almost every show and she will never wear the same outfit for a second time. People love her or hate her. The Hunters certainly love her, for us she is such an inspiration. Anna’s style is striking, electric and extravagant. Feathers, bright colors, extreme shoulders, and always special shoes. It may actually not be crazy enough. Remarkable about her outfits is that she wears the designer outfits, exactly as they appears on the catwalk, even the accessories. Anna has no favorite designer, she likes all the best from all the best designers. That’s what we really like about her style, the variation and the guts to stand out. We would die to have a look in her wardrobe.
