SS14 trend report: School girl
This season the fashion train goes back to school. Uniforms are back in style and they are sexier than ever before. Don’t get confused by these cute white collars, because these are some outfits not to mess with. Tommy Hilfiger brought the school girls to the tennis court. Dresses in pastel shades reminding of the boyfriends polo shirt. A trademark dress for Tommy Hilfiger however this time made of neoprine. Prabal Gurung used the white collars and pastel shades as well, however in a more dressed up version. White pencil skirts with buttoned up shirts, or as pictured below in shiny pastel shades. This skirt length is something which was shown more often this spring season, and will continue more heavily in this fall. Another designer inspired by his teenage years on school was Alexander Wang. He showed mini skirts with matching boxy shaped tops in check pattern, styled with long white gloves. What’s not to like about this trend? It brings back memories of when you were a teenager. It’s girly, sporty and sexy, a perfect spring look.
Bagpack, pull-over around the neck, midriff, yes this is Chanel’s school girl.
