SS14 trend report: Blue World
Head-to-toe blue looks should be part of your spring looks. For women in a romantic and tropical floral print. No simple blue shirts with denim, but total blue printed looks. Emporio Armani went for a pyjama look, while Prabal Gurung showed the flower prints in combination with pop-art pencil skirts. A dressed up look with a fresh summer feeling. For men the blue looks are more minimalistic, almost futuristic. Suiting-up in bright mono-colors, including matching shoes and ties at Calvin Klein Collection, from electric blue to sky blue. Raf Simons went for more futuristic with semi-transparant and shiny coats and wet-look hair. And Lucas Ossendrijver showed color-blocking blue shirts in over-sized pyjama style at Lanvin. These are just a few of the runway looks and designers showing a blue world this Spring. With blue you are safe for this Spring, however to make sure it’s on trend it’s all about the styling. Take a look at the below runway looks to get inspiration on how to style your blue-look.
