Back to our roots

While we are enjoying the indian summer at this moment, we finally get the opportunity to wear a part of our summer wardrobe. Try to dress up 2 times a day, so you can wear evertything you bought in the beginning of this season. The Hunters intended to invest more money in their winter wardrobe. You probably all have the same feeling at the end of September. It’s start to tickle, it’s time for shopping to get the wardrobe winter proof. Real fashionistas always plan their wardrobe beforehand. The Hunters started shopping in NYC, which was really inspiring. In terms of color trends for FW 2011/2012 almost every color is possible. It is essential to remember that in autumn and winter colors shouldn’t be as bright as they are in spring and summer. But it doesn’t mean you have to go black, grey and brown. Indeed using bright colors, colorbocking and colorfull details in your look are trends for this season. Colors like yellow, green, pink and bright orange. Orange is one of the most important colors. The Hunters really like this color and saw a lot of orange in NYC. Orange passed the runway for the SS2012 collections, so when you invest in orange this season, you are ready for next season as well. Designers that use this ‘Oh-so-Dutch’ color are: Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Burberry and Jil Sander. We spotted a lot of orange in stores, sweaters, tops, skirts, trousers but also orange in accessories and make-up. Stay away from a total orange look. Combine orange with denim, or us orange for the color blocking effect with black and grey. Black and grey still remain favorite colors in the fall season, but to be honest is a little boring. So give your overall grey look a hint of orange and it will make the look way more friendly and fashionable.  Orange is happy, daring and a bit different. If you don’t want to strike with orange clothes, you can choose for orange accessories, lipstick or nail polish.
