Rochambeau, Spring 2012
Waking up with a hangover isn’t good. But getting up for the presentation of Rochambeau will let you forget the hangover. Seeing the hot male models right before you, even so close you can touch them is a fantastic way to start your day. And this is both what happened last morning. We had a hangover from the Max Azria after party and the rooftop party at the Standard. It wasn’t a usual show, like we’re used to in Lincoln Center. It was more like a presentation of the collection. The models were lined up next to eachother. The Hunters weren’t familiar with Rochembeau before and didn’t know what to expect, but we were happily suprised. Rochambeau is a New York based brand, produced by New Yorkers. Inspiration for their brand are the streets of New York City. Specific individuals that divine beauty. The beauty and love of the city, the street, the streets of New York City is what comes back in the collection. The collection Rochembeau was presenting really speaks to the mind of the Hunters. It’s dark, grunge and androgynous. See-through, leather, strong cuts and a little western style were the red ribbon of the collection.
