Quoc Thang, AIFW
We had a little fashion break on day 3 of Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Instead of watching the shows, we went to a festival. However on Saturday we were up and running for a fashionable weekend. First show I (Hunter Niels) went was from mens wear designer, Quoc Thang. To everyone’s surprise the first model came from the other side of the catwalk, and started his walk were the camera’s are. The models were very masculine, but the faces and chests were covered in glitters. The collection consisted of many different tones of blue and grey. My favourite pieces were the wool trousers, and a-symmetric overcoats. Quoc Thang also used lots of faux fur, and high tech nylon. Personal I’m not a big fan of all the knitwear, since I prefer the Alexander Wang, or Rick Owens style with oversized cardigans. But overall, there were some very interesting looks, in the way they combined the different blue colours. And I definetelly need those wool trousers in my clouset for next autumn.
