Peter Marino, Style icon
No, you didn’t click on some fetish website. You are still on the page of Lifestylehunters. We just like to share some pictures with you of our style icon: Peter Marino.Peter Marino is an architect and designer, a big motorcycle fan and an even bigger New York personality. His break-through was in the mid-’70s, renovating the Upper East Side townhouse of Andy Warhol and the third “Factory.” Today, Marino is one of the biggest names in architecture. He designed more high-fashion boutiques in high-fashion capitals than any other architect in the business. Besides his big talent in designing the stores for the fashion houses. Peter seems to inspire them as well. Lately the leather and fashion trend really kicked in thanks to designers as Marc Jacobs. It wouldn’t surprise us if Jacobs got his inspiration from the rough, leather, biker look from one of his close friends: Marino. Obviously not so literally that he transforms the models into some bear-looking SM masters, however the leather caps, all leather suits and fetish accessoires at Louis Vuitton have to come from somewhere? Yes, we think this big boy is a big influence now-a-days for the fashion designers. He isn’t seated front-row at Chanel for nothing, and high fiving with John Galliano, Blake Lively and Karl Lagerfeld. The overall look might be a little bit too much for me (Hunter Niels), but I do keep some pieces of his look in my mind, for the moments I feel like a biker boy myself.
