Paris Fashion Week – Diary V
It would be perfect to end the last day of Paris Fashion Week with the show of Louis Vuitton, but unfortunately we didn’t manage to come in. We were a little bit disappointed, after seeing all the images and messages on Facebook and twitter about this amazing show. We decided to try to take it easy the last day and to do besides two showroom visits some shopping. After our daily routine, coffee at the Starbucks and our Wifi moment we started our shoe shopping tour.
Before we had our coffee break, we passed by the window of Doucal’s. An Italian shoe brand, established in 1964 by two brothers, the shoes are manufactured by craftsmanship and known for their cutting-edge designs. After the coffee we went back to the shop and Hunter Niels bought an amazing pair of black lacquer brogues. Hunter Linda fell in love with the studded loafers, but restrained herself.
This weather is too cold to handle.
Lunch break, actually not because we were hungry but to check our E-mail.
Our shopping tour continued to Givenchy. The purchases unfortunately only remained to a keychain, which Hunter Niels had to buy for a friend. OMG we love that brand, we added the wishlist. Because at the moment our bankaccount isn’t Givenchy proof.
Thanks to our friend we got the opportunity to visit the Valentino showroom. A visit of the showroom is very special, since you could take the time to see the collection. More pictures about this amazing collection will follow soon. We saw the review and the images of the show online, because we were not able to attend the show. We added Valentino to one of our favorite collections this season, touching and feel the designs in the showroom made us very enthusiastic.
After Valentino we travelled to Les Marais, where we had an appointment in the showroom of Issey Miyake to see the collection, to get some information about the collection and to take some pictures. We saw beautiful materials, designs, cuts, colors and craftsmanship. To see and touch the collection after seeing the show was a new experience.
After Issey Miyake we had to rush to buy some dinner, sweets and presents. Before we arrived at the bakery Hunter Linda was stopped at the metro for a card check by an enormous lady. We wish we could show you a picture of this situation, normally a control isn’t a problem, but we were traveling without a ticket. Luckily she let me go through, to celebrate this I bought a delicious chocolate lollipop.
Sad because we had to take the Thalys instead of the Louis Vuitton train. We got an invitation to go to the exhibition and party, but we had to go back to Amsterdam.
There is no dinner for Hunter Niels without a glass, in this case a bottle of wine.
And for Hunter Linda there is no dinner and without finishing it with a desert. Preferably one made out of chocolate.
