On the Hunt MMFW A/W’13: Day 2 & 3
Another day, still no suitcase, still no make-up. So we had the breakfast at the department store Rinascente. This time Hunter Linda got her make-up done by Laura Mercier.
First show the visited on Sunday was Salvatore Ferragamo. Lot’s of dark blue, black and green was used in the collection. We especially liked the capes and the skinny 7/8 leather pants.
In between the shows of Salvatore Ferragamo and Vivienne Westwood we had a little bit time to go shopping at Excelsior. Excelsior is a must see on your shopping trip in Milan. Not only because of the nice collections, but also for the architecture of the building. Hunter Linda got some style advise by another lady who was shopping here and bought a Marni necklace. Hunter Niels went home with a 3.1 Phillip Lim bag.
No day passes by for Hunter Linda without eating chocolate. This time a chocolate cake as a lunch break.
After Vivienne Westwood we had to run home, since the suitcase of Hunter Linda was arriving. Many disappointments later, of the suitcase not arriving and the couriers be gone, Hunter Niels suddenly walked down stairs and surprised Hunter Linda with the purple suitcase. Two days and Hunter Linda was finally reunited with her luggage.
Third and last show of the day was Moncler. A spectacular decoration reminded us of Christmas again. The collection was inspired by traditional Scottisch clothing with lot’s of checks. A friend of Hunter Niels, Bart Grein, was walking in the show (first picture).
One tradition of Milan Fashion Week is the Dantone party. We obviously had to attend again. Here Hunter Linda is posing with her twin Italian brother, who happened to be the finalist of the Italian X-Factor.
Because of an interview and other appointments the last show the Hunters visited was from Dirk Bikkembergs. We especially liked the bulky sweaters and the touch of bright color.
Coffee break after the Dirk Bikkembergs show.
After a super cool interview, more about this project soon, we had some time left to prepare a outfit post.
We snapped this picture after our visit to the Giorgio Brato showroom. The last appointment in Milano.
