On the Hunt MMFW A/W’13: Day 1
What better way to start the day with Italian coffee and sweets.
There seems to be a curse on the Men’s Fashion Week in Milan. Last season Hunter Niels suitcase got lost. This time it was Hunter Linda’s turn. Thank god the outfit of Sportmax was send to the place were we were staying. And Yves Saint Laurent was there to help with the make-up.
After Linda got her make-up done we were ready to rock the streets of Milan.
The first show the Hunters attended was Ermenigildo Zegna. The collection looked much younger than we are used from the relatively classic Ermenegildo Zegna. We especially loved the big chunky coats. More about the show coming up soon!
After Ermenegildo Zegna we visited White, a fashion fair with lots of upcoming designers.
The Hunters with their friend Riccardo from Fiasco magazine, after the show of Costume National.
An important part of our Fashion Weeks visits: Streetstyle-ing. Here Hunter Linda is shot by Adam Kitz for New York Times.
Earlier this week Hunter Niels had breakfast with Burberry. This time he had champagne with Burberry, after the show of Burberry Prorsum. A very spectacular show. Burberry Prorsum showed lots of animal print, transparant colored coats, and beautiful accessories. The bags and coats stood out for us the most.
Last show of the day for the Hunters was Les Hommes. Favorite items were the capes and the extra long coats. Moreover Les Hommes showed a daring collection with skirts and big fur sweaters.
Usually we like to party. However since last night we didn’t get much sleep we decided to stay in with friends, red wine, italian cheeses and pizza.
The queen of the night was Martin Margiela, the cat of our friends.
