ON THE HUNT: MFW A/W13 DAY 1
The Lifestylehunters have arrived in Milan for the A/W 13 women’s shows. Milan always feels like a second home for the Hunters. Since they are staying at good friends of them. The late night dinners, the colorful and sexy way of how the people dress, the coffee, the food it all makes Milan extra fun. Moreover many big shows are here, and it’s a little bit more relaxed and less chaotic than Paris Fashion Week.
First show we attended was Moschino. A very patriotic show. Unfortunately we were not in the right spot to make good pictures. Second show was Sportmax. We were looking forward to this show, since Linda became a brand ambassador. Iconic coats, bonded leather, sharp pencil shapes. A mix of colours, materials and shapes. A beautiful collection, one of the best shows we attended so far.
Travelling by tram, on our way to the next shows.
We snapped these photos during the Iceberg show. We were pleasantly surprised. The collection is inspired by the 80s. Batwing sleeves, asymmetric collars and graphic color-blocking coats and sweaters. Patches of fur and not to mention sequins.
Next to the shows, we had some showroom appointments. We snapped these pictures at Tosca Blu (the shoes) and Furla (the bags).
We were invited to visit the Missoni showroom. We were excited about this appointment, since we are big fans of Missoni. We love the colours and the prints. Unfortunately they did not show their collection on the runway this season. We’re pleased to visit the showroom, to see the autumn 2013 collection, to feel the textures, the materials and to meet the Missoni team.
Closing the night at L’Officiel party with a glass of bubbles.
