We started the second day of London fashion week with a backstage visit and the show of Vivienne Westwood. We were invited by MAC Cosmetics to visit backstage. Vivienne showed her wild side with the make-up. The make-up was inspired by illustrations. With exaggerated eyebrows, eyes and lips annotated with splotches of turquoise, red and yellow. The Red Label collection was inspired by Vivienne Westwood’s her Sixties and Seventies incarnations. Seventies floral prints, coats in zebra strips, leather skirts and dresses that strongly accented the waist and hips. The clothes were elegant and wearable, with a few outstanding items like the metallic jacket, the metallic printed jackets.

Sunday was quite a busy day regarding backstage visits. Toni&Guy invited us backstage before the show of Matthew Williamson. Regarding to all backstage visits before, this was a new experience. Regarding the location and the atmosphere. Usually it’s super hectic backstage. We got the opportunity to interview the hair stylists, to take pictures of the collection and even to speak with the models. The show was organized in the spectacular setting of the Royal Opera House, Williamson put on a bewitching light show, using the clothes as conductors, that culminated in a magical snow storm. Dresses and coats  from a rich jacquard cloth and enhanced with hand embroidery. Tunics worn over wide leg trousers and mid-calf pleated skirts. Beautiful colourslike deep purple, orange, deep and delicate blues and acid green passed the runway.

Sunday ended with the Style Hub dinner hosted by Blogger Susie Bubble and Global Hair Ambassador Toni&Guy Hair Meet wardrobe Mark Hampton. We enjoyed a delicious four course menu, cocktails and a super sweet jelly pie while spending some time with Susie, Mark, Lulu Kennedy and all the Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe guests.
