On the Hunt in Paris: the last streetstyle, the last appointments, the last baguettes, the last day

Unfortunately we couldn’t attend the Chanel show this season. Despite the fact we couldn’t attend the show, it was a pleasure to be around Grand Palais yesterday. So many beautiful (most of them dressed in Chanel) people. We took some streetstyle pictures, more will follow soon.

We get lots of inspiration of the shows, but visiting the showrooms is super inspiring for us as well. After the show it’s great to take a closer look to the collections and to feel the fabrics. We did some showroom visits during our stay in Paris. One of the showrooms we visited was IKKS. Hunter Linda is a big fan of this French brand. As you can see the collection consists of colour and prints.

This T-shirt is so Linda

We were pleasantly surprised about the IKKS men collections. More about the IKKS Spring/Summer 2013 will follow soon.

On our way to the next showroom visit. So important to look up when you walk in the streets of Paris. Otherwise you miss the beauty of the city.

The second showroom, Alexis Mabille. Entering the showroom, felt like entering a fairytaile. Bows, lace, mirrors, beautiful dresses, sweet pink, white and contrasting black. The sweater is one of the most important garments for the wardrobe this season and it will be important for next season. Great in combination with a maxi skirt.

The beloved bow tie in pretty lace pink.

The haute couture dresses from Alexis Mabille. The pink, third dress on the row, was worn by Katy Perry. Other celebrities who walked in his garments are: Keira Knightley, Leighton Meester and Dita von Teese.

Time for lunch in a typical Japanese boulangerie….

The last snack in Paris. As you can see, Niels is craving for his crêpe.

Au revoir Paris. We will miss you! The shows, the showroom, the photographers, the stylists, the fellow bloggers the designers, the make-up artists, the backstages, the running, the constant hurry, the lack of time or food and drinks, the parties, the outfit changes.

But now is the real job starting. Writing about all the inspiration we retrieved during this fashion month.
