On the Hunt in Paris: Paul Smith, Chloe and more Kenzo
Early, early breakfast. Not because we had a show in the morning. This time we had a special secret project.
The secret project is a photoshoot for a Chinese magazine. That’s all we could say for now. Soon we will share more with you.
After the shoot we were ready to rock the streets of Paris again.
Today were less shows, so we went to visit showrooms as well. First showroom was from Paul Smith. Colourblocking, printed pajama tops, cropped pants and pleated skirts describe the collection. Paul Smith is obviously known for the prints and colour so overall a very fresh collection.
First we had the birthday of Camper. And on Monday we had the 60th birthday of Chloe. You could have expect a collection with an overview of Chloe throughout the years, in a todays fit. However there is the exhibition for. In the show we saw a very French and feminine Chloe lady, with a boyish twist. Transparant pleated dresses for the feminine part, cropped tops and knee-length shorts for the boyish part. Just like the autumn/winter collection the colours were mostly powder: Peach, soft pink, lavender and white. However like most designers are showing this season there was enough black in the collection as well. Oh, and do you see Bill Cunningham in the back? He went for a red jumper, instead of his famous blue jacket.
Dutch winner of Holland’s Next Top Model, Tamara was walking in the show of Holland’s Next Top Model.
Second showroom visit was at Kenzo. We already were amazed when we saw the show. However seeing the clothes and accessories up close gives even a better impression about the collection. You see all the details which you won’t see during the show. And see here the new Kenzo sweater. Can’t wait till this one is in stores!
Monday evening was our relaxing evening. We went for a nice dinner in St. Germain in restaurant Germain. More about this hotspot later. After dinner we went for a drink at a party in W hotel.
