N. on the Hunt: Vintage shopping, Sam Sparro and romance
This week was full of events for Hunter Niels. From press days, to a concert and a romantic weekend.
This week I (Hunter Niels) had my press days. Very busy week, but with delicious bites.
On Tuesday night was the launch of the ‘My Cointreau Evening’ limited edition bag of Cointreau, by Dita Von Teese. The launch took place in the College hotel. Delicious bites, good company and delightful drinks. For more information about this special bag check our previous post.
One of the best nights out is a pop concert for me. Each time I visit a concert, I come to the conclusion I should go more often. However this week I was lucky and attended the concert of the Australian pop singer Sam Sparro. Such a performer and amazing vocalist! Moreover he is also a beauty/style icon for us. He is one of the view man who is ahead of the trend of the ‘moustache’.
Vintage shopping is one of my favourite activities during the weekend. This weekend I spotted a new spot for vintage shopping in Amsterdam ‘True Love’. More about this hotspot soon online! After True Love I went to PS where I bought a sporty Margiela sweater and an oversized, knitted scarf of Made.
Saturday was also the opening of the beauty/hair saloon & barber shop ‘Wild Romance’. More about this retro hotspot will be online soon!
Sunday was lazy day. Breakfast in bed, Queer as Folk on the Macbook, and some strolling in sunny Amsterdam.
And I finished the week with delicious pizza on the couch. Again with Queer as Folk (gay version of Sex and the City) as entertaining.
