N. on the Hunt: Boat, sun and Milkshake
Last Sunday was a day I had been looking forward to for a while. Reason: Milkshake festival. A liberal and open-minded festival in Westerpark, Amsterdam. I started the day with a champagne breakfast together with my best-friend/fag-hag Naomi. At 13.00 we were already at the Westerpark, because in our opinion the party couldn’t start too early. And boy did we had fun. The amazing tunes, outfit and act of Jean Paul Paula, the extravagant crowd at Erwin Olaf’s Blackpool, the cuteness of DJ’s Egbert-Jan Weber and Don Diablo, the weather, the sexy audience, the drinks. No words could describe how much fun I had. I’m already in the countdown for next year.
On Monday I started my work-week at Modefabriek.:The Dutch fashion fair. One of the favorite things I saw were the dresses from David Laport.
Summer is finally hitting Amsterdam. This means you need to enjoy being outside as much as you can. A good start of the week is with friends, bites, wine at the parc.
Another perfect way to spend your summer evenings: on a terrace with friends.
Loving my mornings on the bicycle with this sunny weather, in the parc.
Another perfect way of spending a summer night, on the canals, on a boat.
My outfit on Friday: Viktor & Rolf shirt, Reign shorts and Doucal’s shoes.
And the best way to end the sunny week, on a roofterrace, with a party to start the weekend.
Saturday was my lazy day of the week. I spend all day at home. Blogging, eating, blogging, coffee, blogging, reading, blogging, Olympics, blogging.
A less appealing way to spend your Sunny Sunday is in a shopping mall. But hey, sometimes you need to help out your friends. Just keep smiling!
A little easier for me to survive the day in the shopping mall, was I knew I was going to finish the day with drinks at the beach, and later on barbecue at my parents.
