Moby’s tea room, New York City

Afternoon tea’s are very British but also a perfect way to spend your time in New York City. Musican Moby, who is veganist, is a huge fan of tea and has his own tea room in Manhattan, Lower East Side. The place is run by his girlfriend and their dog, who is walking around in the cafe like he owns the place. Since we could really enjoy our Diva moments as well, we can perfectly connect with this dog. The tea room (teany) looks very authentic, which makes it really cosy. The tea room offers over 98 different kinds of tea. Afternoon tea is $14 ($26 for two), and includes tea, sandwiches and sweets. They serve beer and wine as well, as an extensive a la carte menu of everything from bagels and sandwiches to scones and cookies. Other than only tea, Teany has delicious pastries and sandwiches. Teany is the perfect place to relax after a long day of shopping and to build some energy for a long night on the town.
