The second day was full of shows, showrooms and parties. So many that we even had to split up to see all (read most). See here our adventures the second day of Milan Men’s Fashion Week SS14.

First show of the day was Iceberg. A very modern show with colorblocking and geometric shapes. What stood out for us the most were the white sweaters. They had this boxy shape, beautiful knitted with a big black zipper on the side to make it complete.

Second show of the day was Salvatore Ferragamo. There was a huge variation of colors in the show. From bright orange and green, to more neutral. What also stood out to us were the accessories. The sandals were covering almost the complete foot. So was a mix between a shoe and a sandal. And the sunglasses were an iron frame, which gave the total look a futuristic feeling. After the show it was a chaos of streetstyle photographers and fashionista’s on the stairs of the building.

Time for lunch. Niels wouldn’t be Niels if he didn’t had a bit of cheese.

Linda was in the mood for pasta.

One of the highlights of the day was Missoni. We were so lucky to be dressed in Missoni ourself so the show had something extra special. The show had an Indiana theme. Lot’s of prints and colors as we are used of Missoni. The zigzag pattern of course came back in the collection. Hunter Niels can’t wait to wear this next summer.

Moncler Gamme Blue (designed by Thom Browne) was the last show of the day. Dutch model Bart Grein opened the show, just like last season. A very spectacular show all in the theme of cricket.

Linda attended the Roberto Cavalli cocktail. A beautiful garden an amazing atmosphere.

Roberto Cavalli, stylist/PR/DJ Marcello and Salvatore Ferragamo were amongst the parties we attended. What to do to look fresh the next day after all this? Facial cleansing and mask might do the trick 😉
