Milan Fashion Week Diary I
It’s a wrap, the first day of Milan Fashion Week. The Hunters arrived Thursday evening around midnight, in their aparment. After a tight and cozy night, because the bed is so small and hard, we were excited to get dressed and to discover Milano. Dressed in Italian glamour style, with a hint of ‘Hunter Hysteria’, our first stop was the supermarket to get some breakfast. We were kind of in a rush to attend the first show: Les Copains. Once arrived there we did an interview for Fashion TV, so please let us know when you have seen it, we are very curious. The location was beautiful, and the for us new brand showed some gorgeous pieces. More information about this later. We were seated front-row so could make some nice snapshots for you. After a quick coffee break we took the underground to visit Just Cavalli. It was a huge space where the show was helt. We got to sit 3rd row in between all the big names of the American magazine industry. This proved that a overdressed outfit works very well. After all this travelling we thought we deserved a little snack. Linda got an ice-cream and Niels got a sandwich and an Italian boy. No worries, nothing happened, but a little flirtation never hurts anybody. Last show we visited was C’n’C. Amazing patent leather looks, for the complete grunge vibe. After all the streetstyle hystery we went to visit the showroom of Tosca Blu and Mauro Grifoni. More about all these shows and showroom visits we will share with you later. Than the Hunters need to change into a new outfit. Metallic was the theme of the night. We tried to visit the Versace show but unfortunately we weren’t on the list. However Hunter Linda got some nice compliments about her looks from Bryanboy and Anna Della Russo so it wasn’t all a waste. We had three parties to attend on Friday night, one in store Dantone, one from Bulgari (we were too late for this one) and one from WSJ magazine which was helt in the Central Station. So we started our day in the station and finished her as well. However this time with champagne and lots of new experiences and inspiration, instead of just a suitcase.
