London Fashion Week Diary II
We started the day not so fancy. Hunter Linda her phone got stolen, so we had to go to the police station first. All dressed up, since we were going to see the show afterwards. The first show we went to see was from Aquascutum. We were invited by Toni & Guy to go backstage first. The show was in the beautiful Savoy hotel, an amazing location. For us it was the first time to be backstage at such a big show. It was incredibly hot backstage, not because of the sexiness of Dutch models like Bette Frank and Ymre, but because of the amount of people in a small space, and the hair blowers that were on constantly. We got seated front-row at the show, so we were able to make some catwalk-photo’s ourself this time. More about the show later. After the show we had a short tea-break at the Rimmel London penthouse in the One Aldwych hotel. Next stop was the Christopher Reaburn show. This was a small salon presentation. After that we were in an amazing rush. We had 20 minutes to spend in Topshop, than had to change, and run to the show of Issa. 20 minutes Topshop is like a mayor challenge! The Issa show was beautiful, lots of colour and light fabrics. After these hysterical day, we had to finish it hysterical as well: Soho, gay district. First dinner and cocktails at Balans café, and later dancing in G-A-Y café. A day we won’t forget quick.
