L hunting in Camperland
If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you might have noticed I was enjoying the sun in Mallorca last week. Not just for vacation, I was invited by Camper to come to Mallorca to discover the brand at ‘home’ in its Mediterranean roots and to experience the workshop ‘Thanks God it’s Friday’.
Ready to go. Yes.. you do see it right. I’m travelling with only this small suitcase.
The first flight to Madrid.
Reading material, check!
I arrived at the hotel Sa Cabana. I wouldn’t use the word hotel to describe this amazing stay. This former farm located in Es Raiguer, was built in 1578. The family Comas recently renovated the building and started this boutique hotel. The hotel will officially open this week. They opened especially for the Camper team a few days earlier. I was the first person, who slept on this bed, the first person who took a bath in this room, super cool! I had the feeling of being home. If you travel to Mallorca this is a must stay! The review about this paradise will follow soon!
The courtyard in front of my room. I took this photo the first morning. Although I was tired from the trip, the bed was super soft I couldn’t sleep that well because I was to excited. I woke up early to explore the area and the hotel.
The pool, which is as you can see amazing was a water tank before. Under this pool there is an amazing Spa, with a window view to the pool.
Nothing better than breakfast outside on a beautiful sunny morning.
A healthy continental breakfast with fresh ingredients.
A Camper get together moment, during breakfast.
This tree is over 500 years!!
One of the designers, telling us about his concept and ideas.
Work in progress, to beat the deadline.
In the car with Elisabeth on our way to Camper HQ
The colour red is also reflected in the interior design of the HQ.
Enjoying a typical Spanish lunch in the Camper canteen.
After the workshops and the tour through the office it was time to enjoy the sun in Mallorca. Sunshine, a private pool, cold drinks and cozy companionship.
Life is so much better in Mallorca
Our table, ready for dinner. This view is amazing right!!
I just show you 3 pictures from the dinner. The menu consisted of 7 courses. We thought we had to make a choice, to pick a starter, main course and dessert. The dinner consisted of all those 7 courses. I can handle a lot of food, but boy (as you can see, the portions are huge) this was to much. From the moment I saw the menu my eyes fell on the brownie, so I left some space. Moreover the dinner was delicious. My compliments to the 21 year old chef, he did a great job!
I wish I could start my day with a fresh dive everyday. Hunter Linda is wearing: Batrobe: Sa Cabana, Slippers: Sa Cabana, Bikini (yes, there is something underneath) Calvin Klein.
Striking a pose with my friend Txema
The second hotel in Palma
I had 3 hours of free time in Palma before dinner. It was my first time on the island, so I had to get a glimpse of the historical city center.
I couldn’t resist Zara. Although there was no time left, I had to do some shopping. Take a closer look to the price tag! OMG, Zara in Spain is sooo cheap. Because I did some shopping, I had to run back to the hotel, where I only had 10 minutes left to take a shower and to change make-up and clothes.
The last night in Mallorca. Closing dinner and party at the house of Philippe Salva, Global PR manager at Camper. Whauw, I fell in love with this place. A fantastic surrounding, a huge garden, a characteristic spanish house, cute, sweet and so romantic. I’m sure there will be no divorces in Mallorca.
I had a blast!
Thank you Camper for those amazing days. I hope I will be back in Mallorca soon.
