Cowboys to Catwalk
One of the best men fashion stores in Amsterdam is Cowboys to Catwalk. We both love to come her. Hunter Niels to spend his money, and Hunter Linda to advice the boyfriend how to spend his money. The cool thing about the store is the variety of designers, styles and prices. The offer of Cowboys to Catwalk is structured in 3 different price ranges. The more exclusive brands like: Viktor & Rolf Monsieur. The casual designers like Marc by Marc Jacobs and the more affordable and classic brands like: Paul and Joe, Acne and Filippa K. Visit Cowboys to Catwalk when you are in need for some fashion items, or just go for inspiration. The atmosphere in this store is great, the customer service is perfect. Cowboys to Catwalk is a must see when you’re in Amsterdam.
One of the shops I (Hunter Linda) have to visit when I’m in the neighborhood (9 streets) to see if there are new treasures is PS. For me and my boyfriend without doubt the best vintage shop in Amsterdam. Designer clothing, shoes and accessories for men and women. A variety of clothing and designers (Chanel, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Prada), all in very good condition and affordable.
For me also very important the atmosphere in the store. Josta, the owner of the shop, provides personal advice and ensures you leave the store with the feeling you bought a great purchase a real treasure. If you don’t know this store yet, go and take a look! I’m convinced this store will be a certain spot on your shopping route.

Club Bump, Amsterdam
Last Thursday (31-03-2011) gay bar Bump opened the doors in Amsterdam. It was about time some new gay bar opened in Amsterdam, since everything was closed lately. Bar Bump is the perfect location for a nice drink, a little dance and possibly a hook-up. The interior is a combination of modern and baroque.
Bump is from the same owners as Café Prik. That’s probably why the audience is slightly older. However, since the place is bright new this will probably change in a while. Moreover, the staff is extremely kind and well-trained (talking about the service, not the abs). For people who are familiar in Amsterdam, Bump is located in the Kerkstraat where Lola’s was before. The bar is open from Wednesday till Sunday.
One of the best, and surely my favourite, lunchrooms from Amsterdam is Puccini. Puccini is located on a corner, opposite the Stopera. It’s a small place, so you need to be lucky to get a table. The Italian lunchroom serves amazing focaccia’s, home -made soups and define cake. My favourite focaccia is the ‘magor’: Gorgonzola, pesto and lot’s of vegetables. But hold on there!
Don’t walk out of the place without having tasted the truffle-chocolate cake. Have a little Illy espresso or cappuccino on the side, and you are in chocolate heaven.
I come here for the past ten years, if it ain’t more. The owner has seen me grown up, from the cute little boy which visited with his Granny and mummy. To who I am now a days (not so cute). The first question John (the owner) always asks me: ‘Have you been a bad boy the last couple of weeks?’. And the second question is: ‘How are the boys?’. You can imagine, I feel like home at Puccini.
