Hotel Madlein, Ischgl, Austria

Winter is around the corner, everybody is prepping their wintercloset with warm clothes and booking holidays for the next year. For the once who are planning to go skiing or snowboarding the Hunters know the perfect hotel: Madlein. It was the first design hotel in the Alps. Recently they renovated part of the rooms to stay up-to-date, and keep the high-design level. The hotel has two parts, one with more affordable traditional suits, and the more modern designed rooms. Of course the designer rooms are beautiful. However the others are nice as well, and really give you the ‘winterurlaub’ vibe. The rest of the hotel is very modern and stylish. Cool stone is the main stylistic guideline, which combined with the minimalistic Zen design of the hotel oozes calm and wellbeing. The hotel lobby becomes a chill-out lounge with a feel-good character that will fascinate any visitor straight away. I (Hunter Niels) stayed in the hotel, and had some bad luck concerning the weather. That is why I was so happy with the spa. Several sauna’s, delicious lounge coat near a fire place, juice bar (carrot, orange and ginger was my favourite) and lovely staff. Every afternoon there are several pour moments. A very handsome and masculine boy will pour several fluids over the hot stones, which make the sauna even hotter. You will shortly get the feeling you have fever, but it is very good for you health. Moreover it smells delicious and it’s a blessing to see the guy pour the fluids over the stones ;). Fluids they use are: lavendel, orange and beer. Well enough about the sauna. If you are looking for a place for the winter holiday, please consider hotel Madlein because it has everything you are looking for. Oh, and the Pasha club is underneath the hotel, so you could also go for a little dance.
