Gusto, Rome

A restaurant, pizzeria, wine bar, osteria, formageria and library. And this all under one name, in one building under one roof, without having the feeling you are in a food-fabric. That is Gusto.

Located in a beautiful authentic building, in the city center of Rome close to the shops and just around the corner of museum ‘ara pacis’ is Gusto. The building is divided in several places, all for a different culinair experience, all with a different vibe. Every area at Gusto has a different menu, and different setting. The restaurant is a kind of expensive, but you could really enjoy a long night of dinner here. The menu is a mixture of fusion and italian. For a more typical italian meal the pizzeria is a better place to go to. Looking for quick bites and shared dining? The formageria is a nice place to enjoy some delicious dishes based on cheese. Want to go cook yourself? In the library you can get your inspiration and in the enotecca you could buy the ingredients. As you know I (Hunter Niels) am a big fan of apperitivo. So last time I was in Rome I first went for apperitivo at Salotto 42, and after that I went for dinner in the formageria at around midnight. These delicious cheese bites gave me just that little extra energy to party and dance the night away. In a nutshell, if you are a food addict you have to visit Gusto. Depending on your mood you could decide on where and what kind of  culinair experience you have. Gusto, Piazza Augusto Imperatore 9, Rome.
