1. Love at first sight?

More surprised than love at first sight. I am very familiar with the products of Rituals however didn’t think about Sun Protection. Moreover the bottle was blue which reminded me more about after-sun, than protection.

2. Where does he come from?

Rituals was founded in 2000 in the Netherlands.

3. How would you describe him?

Creamy, fresh and safe. The smell is very fresh and doesn’t smell like the usual sun protections. The smell is more fresh than most others. You need to be careful to keep the bottle itself out of the sun. However this is for most of the sun protections.

4. What attracted you the most about him?

The smell was attracted me the most. I always had liked the smells of Rituals, they have this relaxing Spa effect. Same for the Sun Protection.

Yes! He looks sexy and sweet. In my opinion this coral bottle is a must have for your summer fragrance collection.

Originally born in 1946 in France. Dior Addict Eau Delice has been created especially for this summer.

3. How would you describe him?

Sexy, fresh, sweet, refreshing, and delightful. The notes of cranberries, ylang-ylang from the Comora Islands and white musks ensure a flirty, fruity, feminine scent.

4. What attracted you the most about him?

His soft freshness and sparkle. I love the combination cranberries and white musk. Despite the fact it’s a summer fragrance , it lasts quite long. At least for 4 hours.

Tia Maria London Trip

I wouldn’t call myself a globetrotter, but I’ve been visiting the airport quite a lot the last two weeks. I’m in Amsterdam right now, but I can’t wait to leave to Milan this Friday. I love to travel, to meet new people and to gain inspiration. Last week, I spent 3 days in London. Tia Maria invited me join an amazing live performance by Laura Mvula.

I was super excited about this trip. London, one of my favorite cities, up to 70 % designer sales, the super talented Laura Mvula and Tia Maria cocktails. A lovely mix!

Last Wednesday Laura Mvula presented the Tia Maria Music Room in the famous Century Club in London. A private members’ club located in Soho. In my opinion the perfect location. Chic, classic but on the other hand surprising and urban cool. A great atmosphere. While exploring and enjoying the four different Tia Maria cocktails I snapped some photos to give you a glimpse of the evening.

Cocktail number 4 or 5? I had to try them all right? We just love it!

After enjoying two other life performances and many cocktails it was time for the star of the evening. Laura Mvula. Laura Mvula is a British soul singer-songwriter from Birmingham. Her debut album Sing to the Moon was produced by Steve Brown and released on 4 March 2013. I have to admit I wasn’t that familiar with her music but I was impressed and in love with her from the moment she entered the room. Her appearance and the versatile of her voice, amazing!!

The next day I spent my time exploring London. London I love you even more.

Conspicuous Shorts

This Summer you will see many shorts for men. They come in all varieties, from classic to casual. Some shorts stand for themselves. They are so outstanding that the attention immediately goes to them. Brands were we saw these provocating shorts were: 3.1 Phillip Lim (sweatpants with golden details), Pepe Jeans London (banana print), and Dolce & Gabbana (bold stripes). Another good example are these lime green shorts with a little palm-tree print. If you go for a pair of shorts like this, we prefer to keep the rest of the look neutral. Either in same colors as the shorts. Or with neutral colors like black/white/navy/brown. An outstanding, but classic high summer look.

How many pieces of denim blouses do you have in your wardrobe? They became one of the most important essential of my wardrobe, an accessory, a piece you can have in your wardrobe forever. My wardrobe count at least 15 different denim blouses, long and short sleeved, light or dark washed, destroyed or more formal, denim jackets and gilets. Only the denim waist coast was missing. I have actually been looking for a basic one, but I fell in love with the colors of this one.

I promised myself not to buy any more sales. But come one. London, Harvey Nichols and 70 % sale. No one can resist right? But I’ve been a very very good girl. I’m actually a bit proud of myself. I left the building with only one small bag. More about this shopping adventure will follow soon. About the outfit I’m wearing. I decided to wear comfortable shoes, a relaxed jeans in combination with a blouse and jacket. The perfect look for a breakfast in the chic area Brompton Road and a pizza in East Shoreditch.
