Dramatic cocktail looks
Last night was very exciting. Hunter Niels wasn’t sure if he could make it to the show of Tony Cohen at Amsterdam Fashion Week. He went to Wicked (which is amazing and everyone should see) in the Hague, and the show finished at 5.30, while the show of Tony Cohen should actually start at 6. However Hunter Niels raced, and was last person getting into the show, and could sit and relax next to his fellow Hunter to watch the show of Tony. This season Tony Cohen notched it up a scotch. I mean he always makes very nice (cocktail) dresses, but most of the time it was very bohemian like, and this time it was more on trend if you ask us. Obviously lots of drapery dresses were shown. Some of the pieces reminded us of the Haider Ackermann show we saw in Paris. The metalics and the a-symetric combined with the drapery was very dramatic. Lots of leather, satin and (faux) fur was used. Besides the dresses there were some smashing suits as well. We really liked the grey items, which went from dark grey on the top, to a little lighter on the bottom. It reminded us of the Unconditional shirt of Hunter Niels. However, back to the collection. If you are looking for an outfit for a cocktail party, Tony Cohen is the right place to be.
