2 is the magic number
Collaborations with designers for brands and fashion chains is something we see more and more often. The hype about the Versace for H&M collection is just about over and they announced the following collaboration with Marni already. Which most likely will be a big success as well. The Hunters love these collaborations. The collections are unique and available for a limited time. The collections which are designed for the fashion chains are more affordable. The knowledge, the skills and the creativity of the designers together provide a renewed and fresh vibe in the collection. And we have a new one to announce. Jonathan Saunders for Escada.
Escada will co-operate for the Escada sport line with designer Jonathan Saunders. Jonathan born in 1977 is a Scottisch fashion designer, known for his work with prints and use of traditional silk screening techniques. Jonathan designed prints for Alexander McQueen. One of those prints he produced is a ‘bird of paradise’ print for McQueen’s 2003 collection. Jonathan was also consultant for fashion houses Chloe and Pucci under the direction of Christian Lacroix. For the Escada Sport collection, Jonathan was inspired by the Miami Art Deco architecture. Simple and colorful prints which are combined in a special way. The collection is casual in a very classic and stylish way. We are sure this collaboration will be successful. Funny fact, Hunter Niels has a special connection with Jonathan Saunders. When Hunter Niels was living in London he once worked for Jonathan Saunders. At the event he met the lovely Prince Cassius, who is still a good friend of him. Few weeks ago we posted a picture of Hunter Niels and Prince together.
