Last week was more devoted to food than fashion for Hunter Linda. Last Tuesday I was invited by Karim the owner of The Chocolate Company Amsterdam to taste different kind of cakes, chocolates and to taste the chocolate fondue. My dinner was also really special, but I will tell you more about that later. I was familiar with some products like the hotchocspoons and I tried some cakes before, but the chocolate fondue was a new experience for me. We already wrote about The Chocolate Company as a hotspot, which is heaven for the chocolate lovers. But also a good spot if you want to have a nice coffee or tea while enjoying the authentic pies from Limburg. Together with some other blogger colleagues we enjoyed 3 different flavors of chocolate for the fondue. We tasted the choco coconut bar and not to mention the brownie for the patisserie. OMG I can honestly say this is the best brownie in town. Brownie specialists, correct me if I’m wrong. And different types of chocolates, from apple till whiskey all delicious. While enjoying this chocolate sensation, Karim told us the story of the production of the chocolate. Every chocolate, all the flavors are special because they are handmade. The owner of the factory creates the flavors by experimenting different kind of ingredients. The employees put the wooden spoons by themselves in the chocolate and all the decorations, the sprinkles are decorated on the chocolates by hand. Whatever is made from spoon to dip up bar and brownie, it’s past the stern gaze of the Toussaint, the Charlie from the Chocolate Company. Special chocolate, for special people.
