Chloé Fall 2012
One of the shows the Hunters really wanted to attend during Paris Fashion week was Chloé. The designs of the house suit the personal style of Hunter Linda. The androgynous and boyish but at the same time really feminine, girly, cute and sweet look.Clare Waight Keller, took the inspiration for her second collection from her own experience. A Britsh woman in Paris. The fall collection is chic, sensible and luxe like the French woman with a casual and sporty vibe of English sportswear.
The silhouettes were soft, sporty and cozy in silk, fleecy wools and knits. The sweatpants, soft woolen trousers and oversize military coats ensured the outerwear and sporty look. The satin pencil skirts, the slim cut trousers, silk dresses, and not to mention the lace blouses, dresses and coats provided the chic, romantic and feminine look. Like the soft silhouettes the color palette of the collection consisted like the signature of the house from pastel shades with some popping red and black.
Watching the Chloé show in the enormous white show area gave me the feeling of being an angel for a few minutes. The Hunters really liked the combination of the casual garments like the oversize sweaters and the fabric lace which were shown in the blouses, jackets en dresses. Besides the collection, the accessories, the bags to be more specific, were amazing as well. We are sure these Chloé bags will set the trend next season. You all understand what is going on in Hunter Linda’s mind. Luckily I still have some time to save money.
