The best Thai restaurant in my opinion in London is Busaba. They are located on many different places. I (Hunter Niels) always went to the one on Soho, in Wardour street. This was right in the centre of Soho, so perfect for a quick bite, before going dancing and flirting. It is not possible to make a reservation, and there are queue’s for the entrance, however this goes really quick. I hate queuing, however for Busaba it was quite nice. You get to meet new people, and the smell of the food makes you get even more hungry. At Busaba you share the table with fellow guests. Food is amazing, and comes when it’s ready so it’s shared dining (not with the fellow guests obviously).
Favourite soup is the Thom kha chicken, a big bowl, very spicy and sweet the same time because of the coconut. Favourite wok is the Pad thai (either with prawns or chicken), love the beansprout, peanut, lime and egg combination. And my favourite side dish, and favourite dish of the whole menu are the thai calamari. This is just an orgasm for the taste. Squid in itself doesn’t have much taste obviously, but how they prepare it, with the ginger and peppercorn is define. Busaba is the perfect place for a quick bite.
