Browns – London
Fashion weeks, magazines, and street style all inspire us. Another big inspiration for the Lifestylehunters are concept stores. When being abroad we always have to visit one of the influential concept stores of the city. For London, this is Browns. Browns was founded in 1970 and as of then has been one of the trend setting stores in London.
Of course their are many other concept stores in London, however Browns is still one of Lifestylehunters’ favorites. Balenciaga, Kenzo, Acne, Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney are amongst brands they offer for women. For men Saint Laurent, Maison Martin Margiela, Lanvin, Dries van Noten and Dior Homme are some of the high lights of the store. If you want to make a wise investment in your closet Browns is the place to be. They offer the right pieces to pimp up your wardrobe. Not necessarily the most out-standing pieces from the collections, but most of the times very wearable fashionable pieces. When you see all these big designer names you think you probably can’t effort it. However Browns also has many upcoming designers in stock, which have way more affordable prices (think 50 Brittish Pounds for a sweater/shirt). Where the flagship store offers many classic wardrobe investments, Browns also has ‘Browns Focus’. Which is the more trendy variation of the store, where they offer many up-coming designers and must-haves.
Browns has 8 different stores. Most are in the neighborhood of Oxford street (bond street station), which is close to department store Selfridges and the Topshop flagship store. Besides menswear, the flagship and the Focus store, Browns has a jewelry, bridal and outlet. Next time you visit London, make sure you take a visit!
