Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Last week I felt like an Olsen Twin for 2 minutes. I was one of the lucky ladies who got the opportunity to see, touch and wear the jewelry designed by the French designer Jean Schlumberger. I was invited to join a breakfast at Tiffany’s. While enjoying a delicious breakfast, surrounded by precious jewelry I got informed about this special and unique collection. Jean Schlumberger is one of the twentieth century biggest artists. His designs are inspired by nature. Striking diamond brooches, jeweled dolphins, butterflies, locusts and flowers. His first design, a gold cigarette lighter in the shape of a gold fish with gemstone eyes and flexible tail became a classic. In 1941 he created the Trophée clip for Diana Vreeland, legendary editor of Vogue. Nowadays celebs like Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Emma Stone, the Olson Twins and Hunter Linda flaunt with his designs.
Funny thing to know. The moment I was wearing the bracelet, my boyfriend texted me. It must be a sign, right?!
