Boys will be girls, girls will be boys
Haute Couture, buying it, and wearing it is on of our fashion fantasies. For those who don’t know what Haute Couture is, (because the father of Hunter Linda is also reading this post) a short explanation: Haute Couture is the culmination of fashion, designed by designers who are working for a select market. There are just one or single copies of garments made. These garments are tailored made for the one who will wear it. All couture pieces are hand made and are made of the finest fabrics with the most sophisticated technology. This is the difference with confection, called prêt-à-porter.
Watching the shows, the models, the beautiful collections and to feel the story the collection is telling is giving the Hunters the feeling to approach the dream. The inspiration we gain, the translation from Haute Couture to a portable and affordable collection, the trends arising and finally the street scape which is determined by these shows. The Hunters love fashion and think that fashion is more than only buying clothes. The Hunters watched the reviews of the Fall 2011 runways in Paris, which were showed last week. One of our favorite is Jean Paul Gaultier. Remarkable is that the character of Jean Paul is refelected in the collection. The theme of the collection was gothic ballerina in mens and womenwear. And also amazing about the collection was the womenswear looked like menswear and the menswear looked like womenswear. Hottie Jon Kortajarena and androgonous model Andrej Pejic also werqed the runway in this show.
