All love is equal – by Braden Summers
Age, race, gender or religion, love knows no boundaries. For some reason some people till don’t seem to understand this. ‘All love is equal is the name of the photoseries shot by the New York based photographer Braden Summers.
“A large driving force behind creating this series was actually less about affecting the gay community directly, and more about giving the general population a way to relate to gay imagery which is devoid of sex, victimization, or banality – themes that might usually prevent some folks from connecting,” Summers explains. “When thinking of iconic romance, ask yourself if any imagery comes to mind that is not showing heterosexual couples? Probably not. I would like to use this work as a platform to discuss why that is and how to change it.”
The message is so easy, and for me speaks for itself. However in some cultures and social groups this is still not the case. After seeing these stunning images I can’t imagine people don’t change their opinions. These images don’t show any provocative message. They so shomething so extremely beautiful, and that thing is called love.
