Addicted to chocolate
Hunter Niels is visiting Antwerp today and besides the lovely city, nice restaurants and good stores there is something else why Antwerp is special for me. The chocolate. You all know I’m (hunter Linda) addicted to chocolate.
I hope Niels will bring his partner in crime a small gift next monday. Belgium is famous because of chocolate and especially the chocolates pralines. This type of chocolate was created in 1912 in Belgium by Neuhaus. If you don’t know this chocolate hause, you must plan a trip to Antwerp just to eat some chocolate. Or maybe Niels is so kind to bring some.
Nice to know: there are 4 reasons why the Belgian chocolate is so famous:
1. The cocao beans are of excellent quality, their origin is carefully chosen and is carefully monitored during the process.
2. A special care is taken to burning and griding the beans. (12 microns are grounding, in others countries only to 24 microns)
3. The quality of the different ingredients, like the sugar are superior.
4. All the chocolate bakers are driven by considerable knowledge and passion for their profession
